Rosary Request for Betty Staller

The Knights have been asked to pray a Rosary for Betty Staller on Thursday evening, March 8th, at 7 pm at Hauss-Modetz.  Please make an effort to attend.

Please note, the officer’s meeting will take place back in Romeo after this Rosary.  Please plan accordingly.

Betty Marie Staller passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, March 05, 2018 at the age of 89 years.

Betty was born on June 6, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. She was one of five children born to Eugene and Sarah (nee Beatte) Hergott. On July 14, 1952, she married Joseph Staller at Assumption Grotto in Detroit. She was a member of St. Clement of Rome in Romeo for many years and lived her life as an example of her faith. Betty was always giving of her time and volunteered where ever needed. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida and summers at the family cottage near Gaylord. Betty loved the outdoors and visiting local parks. In her younger years, she enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, bowling, golfing and playing the organ. Betty will be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends.

Betty is survived by her sons, Dennis (Deborah), Wayne (Wanda) and Craig (Laura); grandchildren, Christopher (Tyler) Staller, Krystin (Jason) Mitch, Joseph (Carman) Staller, Jacob Staller and Sabrina Staller; and great-grandchildren, Brayden Mitch and Ellyana Mitch. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; siblings, Marge Clark, Lloyd Hergott, Helen George and Elmer Hergott; and parents.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.Rosary on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Hauss and Modetz Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb. The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement of Rome, 343 S. Main, Romeo with a 9:30 a.m. instate time. Private burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
