Today I regret to inform you that Mary Jane Pardon has passed away. Mary is Ella Hainer’s mother. The family has asked the Knights to pray a Rosary tomorrow, Thursday, December 27th at 7 pm. Given Henry long tenure with the Council and Parish, please make an extra effort to attend.

Mary Jane Pardon, a lifelong resident of Berville, MI passed away at home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the age of 87 years.
Mary was born August 26, 1930, in Mt. Clemens, MI to the late Remi and Mary Christian. She married Milo “Dick” Pardon on February 26, 1949, and enjoyed 65 years of marriage until Dick’s passing in 2014. Mary enjoyed painting Christmas cookies with her grandchildren and had a gift for selling raffle tickets. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children Larry, Joyce (Jerry) Walters, Ella (Henry) Hainer, Dorothy (Gary) Graham, Dave (Dawn), Bill (Kris) and Christina (Randall Ingram) Pardon; grandchildren Kelly Pardon, Amy Suess, Brandie (Mark) Majewski, Courtney (Darin) Roth, Joe Ventimiglia, Andy (Fiancé Kathleen Cowhy) Ventimiglia, Angie (Curtis) McBride, Jason (Fiancé Traci Aoki) Hainer, Nick Hainer, Nicole Hainer, Jaime (Ryan Marcath) Hainer, Kim (John) Niehaus, Danielle (James) Casey, Alainna (John) Walsh, Shannon (Sam) Sheets, Katelyn Pardon, Mikayla Pardon, Julianne Pardon, AJ Durand, Sarah Durand and Christopher Durand; great grandchildren Austin Denean, Tabitha Griffin, Allison Suess, Keegan Majewski, Chase Majewski, Bella Majewski, Dilan Roth, Connor Ventimiglia, Sean Walsh, Brennan Walsh and Everly Sheets; sister in law Helen Christian. Mary is preceded in death by her 5 siblings Ida Zuelch, Rose Rogala, Joseph Christian, Alfred Christian and Albert Christian. She is also survived by her special caregivers Mary Collins, Anita Wood and Silvia Yerty.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary service on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Tiffany-Young & Hauss Funeral Home, Modetz Chapel, 73919 S. Fulton, Armada. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. John Catholic Church in Allenton, MI with an instate time of 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service in West Berlin Cemetery, Berlin Township.
