Brothers, District Deputy Gary Kopp is again leading our efforts to help Holy Cross Children’s Services, the St. Louis Center and our Michigan Veterans. Remember, “sharing is the will of the Lord.” There are several choices for donations.
Gary needs all councils donations by November 30th if he’s going to get it to the Winter Meeting. We’d like to have this completed by the time of our next Membership Meeting on November 16th. Gary will pick them up that evening.
Our council has historically focused on giving sweatshirts. Please see the guidelines below.
The sweatshirt program continues. This has been a very successful program over the years. The children need great-looking sweatshirts or hoodies with sports or college logs. Adult size only, please. Large, XL, XXL, XXXL and XXXXL. Quality is as important as quantity. Remember, your gift may be the only gift these teens get. Please place your sweatshirt in a decorated gift box and write the size on the outside of the box. If it is definitely a girls shirt, please mark it box accordingly in large, easy to read lettering. If you have many shirts of the same size, please place those boxes in another box and mark the size on the larger box. This will save our volunteers a lot of work.
Thank you for your participation.
