Our first Cor gathering at St. Clement of Rome was a tremendous blessing and an encouraging sign of what is to come. Nearly 20 men came together in fraternity to pray, reflect, and speak honestly about where they are in their spiritual lives. The discussion was thoughtful, respectful, and deeply constructive—exactly the kind of authentic encounter Cor is meant to foster.
Fr. Vito led us through several key themes of Advent, helping ground our conversation in the Church’s call to watchfulness, repentance, and hopeful expectation as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. His guidance set a strong spiritual foundation and reminded us that Cor is not about having all the answers, but about intentionally turning our hearts toward the Lord together.
The morning also included simple fellowship over coffee and donuts, reinforcing the brotherhood that lies at the heart of Cor. By the end of the meeting, there was a shared sense of purpose and enthusiasm, and the group unanimously agreed to continue the journey by meeting again in January.
We are grateful to everyone who attended and took part in this first step. Cor at St. Clement of Rome is off to a strong start, and we look forward to growing together in faith, virtue, and fraternity in the months ahead.
